The goal of suspension is to build two bridges from the left
end of the screen to the right. This may sound easy, but you
never know what shapes the supply company is going to bring,
and you have only so many pieces to complete your goal. Pieces
left unattached to an anchor or end point also begin to crumble
if you don't hook them up soon enough. To win, youll
have to think fast and build before your bridge falls apart!
Variety
of game play
The
playfield has a wide variety of objects youll encounter,
such as safety points for anchoring bridges, pits which must
first be filled, wrenches for repair and bonus spots which
increase score / turns remaining. These objects provide a
unique opportunity for strategy. Should you spend the resources
to eliminate a hazard or simply travel around it? Get to your
goal as soon as possible or detour toward the bonuses?
Fun
for everyone
In
Suspension, pieces decay in real-time, but at a rate where
players have time to think. While completely destroyed pieces
cost the player points, they are not a game ending experience.
Much like Gameworlds award-winning Slam!, the emphasis on
quick thinking rather than quick reflexes, making Suspension
fun and challenging for casual gamers and veterans alike.
